Open Surgeries
We have maintained a modified "open" surgery each morning because our patients tell us how much they like them.
We guarantee to see everyone who turns up before 10am. Patients are seen in the order they arrive. We will tell you roughly what time you are likely to be seen and if you have time you are welcome to go away - perhaps for a coffee or to do a little shopping - and come back later. Except on busy days, most people are seen before 10:30am.
Our patients have always appreciated this guaranteed same-day access - and there are also some advantages for our doctors who don't have to worry that patients are delayed in having serious problems looked at or, on the other hand, making appointments "in case they are still ill" later in the week.
